Hey, I’m Max. I write about weird, fun, and sometimes underrated games I find on Steam. Nothing fancy here — just personal takes, small discoveries, and whatever pulled me in.
I’m Max, and this blog is my small space to talk about games that stick with me — the weird, the slow, the ones no one seems to notice.
I’m not here to rate or rank anything. I just write about what I play and why it mattered to me.
Sometimes it’s a short story, sometimes a mess of thoughts — either way, it’s real.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, you’re welcome to stick around.
#fresh from my backlog
Here’s what I’ve been playing lately — the good, the weird, and the “what did I just install?” Each review is just me figuring things out as I go, one strange Steam game at a time.

Classic tower defense gets a twist: mix factions, share heroes, and fight shoulder to shoulder in Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD.
May 18, 2025
A cozy puzzle adventure where color-matching turns into chaos — with lasers, rainbows, and oddly cute cube creatures.
May 12, 2025
A chill farming sim that lets you build, grow, and decorate at your own pace — solo or with friends who won't water their carrots.
May 9, 2025
A chaotic, tongue-in-cheek rail shooter where charm, awkwardness, and pinup-style hijinks collide in the weirdest afterschool exorcism ever.
#on the radar
Got a few new games lined up that I’m really curious about — weird, cozy, loud, or just plain different. Reviews are cooking, just need some more late nights and too much coffee. Stay tuned.

A city-builder with mining layers underneath — above ground you’re managing a steambot town, below you’re digging for lost tech and maybe… something weirder.
July 5, 2025
A survival driving game set in a surreal exclusion zone where your car is your only companion — part road trip, part panic attack (in a fun way).
July 9, 2025
A story-driven RPG set in 1905 Warsaw, full of moral choices, dark mysticism, and spirit-summoning mechanics that twist every battle.

Inventory management meets roguelike — you literally fight by arranging items in your backpack. Way more fun (and tactical) than it sounds.
#small thoughts
Just a few random thoughts from behind the screen — things I’ve noticed, small wins, weird bugs, and whatever else comes up while I’m messing around with games or writing about them.
#reader tips
Every now and then, someone drops a game into my inbox that just sticks with me. Sometimes it’s a vibe, sometimes just a cover I can’t ignore. Here are a few that landed on my radar — expect reviews soon.
This one looks quiet, strange, and way too moody to skip. Might be perfect for a slow, rainy weekend.
Feels like farming, flirting, and magic chaos all in one. No idea what I’m getting into — but I’m definitely going in.
I’ve bounced off this game twice already… and yet here I am again, reinstalling it. Something’s pulling me back.
Honestly? I still don’t know if this is a game or a training manual. Either way, I’m kind of obsessed.
#you asked, I answered
Not always. Some games are super long or just not clicking with me — and I’d rather be honest than push through for the sake of it. But if I haven’t finished it, I’ll say so.
Mostly vibes. Sometimes it's the cover, sometimes a random Steam review, sometimes someone emails me like “dude, try this.” I just follow whatever grabs my attention.
Nope. I write what I actually think — good or bad. If something didn’t land for me, I’ll say it, but I try to keep it fair. Games are weird and personal.
Bit of both. I love digging into small indie titles, but sometimes a huge release sneaks in and I’m like, “okay fine, I’ll play it for 40 hours.”
Please do! I love getting random suggestions. Just know I might not get to everything — I’m doing this solo and kinda slowly. But I do check every message.
I’ve tried, but it always felt off. A number can’t explain why something hit me late at night or why I laughed for no reason. I’d rather just talk it out like this.
